HEART COLLECTION 09.09.09 - 26.09.10 The HEART collection is shown arranged according to overall themes, providing perspectives on central developments within Danish and European art, particularly from the 1960's onwards. The works are by artists such as Piero Manzoni, Paul Gadegaard, Knud Hvidberg, Svend Wiig Hansen, Bjørn Nørgaard, Joseph Beuys, Locio Fontana, and Mario Merz. The exhibition also shows important new aquisitions, including works by Jesper Just, John Kørner, Thaddeus Strode, Andy Warhol, and Troels Wörsel.
INDIAN HIGHWAY 13.03.10 - 12.09.10 A groundbraking exhibition of Indian contemporary art featuring works by. e.g. Shilpa Gupta, Jitish Kallat, and Nalini Malani. The exhibition encompasses video, photography, film, performance art, reflecting on the role played by India as a significant actor within the world economy. Indian Highway is curated by Julia Peyton-Jones, Hans Ulrich Obrist, and Gunnar B. Kvaran together with Stinna Toft in collaboration with the Serpentine Gallery, London and Astrup Fearnley Museum of Contemporary Art, Oslo, Norway.
SOCLE DU MONDE - BETWEEN CULTURES 06.11.10 - 13.03.11 The Socle du Monde Bbiennial for contemporary art focuses on collaboration between cutting-edge artists and the business community. The biennial takes its point of departure in Western culture and the challenges faced by the West. Socle du Monde serves as a laboratory, a place for exploring the relationship between art and business when artistic freedom is complete.
SHIT OR GOLD? 11.09.10 - 31.012.11 A celebration of the creator behind the work Socle du Monde; a new staging of all the works by Piero Manzoni owned by HEART. Numbering a total of 41 works, this is the world's largest public collection of Manzoni's art. The exhibition is shown concurrently with Socle du Monde in Progress - documenting the biennial process and the encounter of hte business community and contemporary artists in the year 2010.
