Indian Highway
Indian Highway is the first exhibition in Denmark to present contemporary Indian art. It is organized in cooperation with Serpentine Gallery, London, and Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, Oslo. The exhibition commenced on the 13th of March and a will conclude the 12th of September 2010.

MidWest Girl’s choir

MidWest Girl’s choir will give a heart-warming love concert at HEART. The themes are love for nature, love for music as well as love for love in itself and love for life.
After the concert, beverages will be served in the foyer.

N EW DATE FOR A LECTURE NEXT STOP INDIA REVEALED SOON
After many years of stagnation, India is facing economic growth and development. It has a significant meaning for all of us from an economical, cultural and political perspective .Come, see, listen to and taste a new India that is on the verge of acquiring great power status. The lecture’s speaker is a historian, writer and consultant at a brand and design agency e-Types, Thomas Sehested. He is also an author of the book ”Indien-næste stormagt”(”India-next great power”) published by L&R Business .
Amit Chaudhuri- Indian literature

Amid Chaudhuri will present portions of his prize-winning books. The Guardian called him one of the most promising authors of his generation.
The books will be presented in English.

Amid Chaudhuri impressed London and now he will be performing in Herning.”This is Not a Fusion” has become one of the most original music performances of present times.

”Steps away from oblivion”, under curatorship of Raqs Media Collective

Works by: Debkamal Ganguly, Ruchir Joshi, Kavita Pai/Hansa Thapliyal, MR Rajan Raghavan, Priya Sen, Surabhi Sharma(med Siddharth Gautam Singh) og Vipin Vijay.
The 7 videos in HEARTs second videoscreening has been curated by Raqs Media Collective. The videos visualize Indian scenery in times of its transformation and harmony. The project focuses on avoiding the simplified picture of India as a global great power. Originally, while being on view at Serpentine Gallery, the project had been supposed to be presented as an ” exhibition within the exhibition”.

The speaker Cathrine Bublatzky is an anthropologist from Heidelberg University. She used the exhibition as a major case study to her project. Cathrine has followed the exhibition from London to Oslo and Herning and has become an expert.

Preben Gondolf, a former diplomat in India and art collector, will give a speech about diversity, colours and imagination in Indian Fine Arts.
